The Phantom has Been Cooled

Yes that's a beast of a Hackintosh, this personal build of mine is Overclocked i5 3570k to 4.8GHz and runs amazingly. After four days of getting the water cooling loop set up and missing parts from my order, I've got it all up and running. The case is the NZXT Phantom 820 it's a full tower case allowing for incredible amount of space and plenty of room to add anything.

I used a XSPC water cooling system and added an extra 360mm Radiator and a water block for the r9 290x, everything is running swimmingly and not one leak at all.
This build was built for the purpose of showing off what you can actually achieve with hackintoshs as opposed to apple products.
Customisation is basically endless, you are able to choose what you need and what you can afford without the premium.
Hope you enjoy the pictures and please contact me any time if you are interested in purchasing or just want a free quote on a hackintosh or even just a custom made PC

The new NZXT Kraken G10

There's a new GPU cooler on the market and it's actually pretty cheap and makes use of CPU liquid coolers. The NZXT Kraken G10 is a mount that will go on basically any GPU which is very surprising. It's also not only limited to NZXT CPU coolers please refer to the website for compatibility.

This amazing thing is going to be great for those who want to get new out of their graphics card, especially owner of the AMD R9 290X which runs incredibly hot and is loud.
This is something I will definitely be purchasing down the track to do a review on.

The Bitfenix Phenom

Today I reconstructed my Basic Hackintosh Build into the awesome little Bitfenix Phenom Case, this little case is more than meets the eye, it is surprisingly cool and quiet. Although it's a small space to work in, it really seems to utilize all of it. I was contemplating putting a H100i closed loop water cooler in there but changed my mind, as this Hackintosh is not really that powerful and wouldn't require it.

Just for the sake of it, I put in the incredible AMD R9 290x Radeon graphics card to see how it would fit. To my surprise, it fitted perfectly inside this little case. One thing i think that is needed is some new flat ATX cables to save space and do some cable management.

All in all this case is one of my favorite and and will show case some build in my later blogs with complete prices.
