RDT is Offering Custom Water Cooling

If you are looking to get a started with a High End water cooling loop you have found the Best place in Melbourne to get it done. With my showcase build being the Phanteks Enthoo Ultimate made setting up the loop a breeze. For this build I went for ridged tubing to go with the straight lines on the case. There is still a little work to be done on this build as the GPU cables are cable tied to stay in that position. The Ram slots are going to have the tops painted white to go with a white, black and silver theme. Originally I wanted to go with red, white and black but latter changed my mind.

A detailed build log is on its way, have to catch up after the Easter break.

Water Cooling made Simple

At CES 2014 Corsair revealed a few little goodies and this is one of them. The Corsair Hydro Series H105 Liquid CPU Cooler.

This is a slightly nicer looking variant to the Corsair H100i. The Corsair Hydro Series H105 provides extreme CPU cooling performance. The 240mm top-mounted high-capacity radiator is paired with high-performance SP120L fans for powerful heat dissipation you need for highly overclocked CPUs. And, PWM fan speed fan control lets you select the precise level of cooling power you need.

This is a great component to add to your new system.

Water Cooling

Today is an incredible hot day in Melbourne so I thought I would put up some information on how to tackle the heat in your build. I offer custom Water cooled loops at reasonable prices if you think your PC is running too hot have a look at your temps using CPUID HWMonitor its a simple way to see the PCs temps and get an idea on how it is running under the stress of the hot weather we are having.

Although custom water cooled loops are expensive it is worth keeping your valuables running cold you really do not want any of your parts to burn out. The positives about running  water cooling are that it looks totally awesome, keeps your system cool, quiet, effective and higher overclocks.

Other options are running  closed looped CPU coolers and the NZXT GPU cooler as well, these things are great and less of a handful to deal with and at a lower cost.

AMD R9 2xx Series GPU Hackintosh

Today I have spent the day testing out the new R9 2xx Series graphics cards, and to my surprise they work perfectly OOB (Out of the Box). What more could you ask for? I tested the Gigabyte 270x, 280x and 290x. The only one that I had issues with was the 290x. I'm really hoping to get this working as soon as possible. I ran the 270x and the 280x through a triple monitor set-up and they work seamlessly. The build I used was my personal build with the i7 3930k OC @ 4.8GHz, 16GB 2133MHz ram, GA-X79-UP4 and a 240GB SSD.

This is great news for new customers looking to purchase a build as we all know that the AMD card are better value for the dollar.

The new NZXT Kraken G10

There's a new GPU cooler on the market and it's actually pretty cheap and makes use of CPU liquid coolers. The NZXT Kraken G10 is a mount that will go on basically any GPU which is very surprising. It's also not only limited to NZXT CPU coolers please refer to the website for compatibility.

This amazing thing is going to be great for those who want to get new out of their graphics card, especially owner of the AMD R9 290X which runs incredibly hot and is loud.
This is something I will definitely be purchasing down the track to do a review on.
